Interesting constructions based on Lines of Action, but not necessarily

##
Shortest **Standard** Game

Here is the shortest known game, devised by Philip Cohen, and published
in *November 1973 NostAlgia*. It's called the "Foolswin"; just nine
moves long.

Pretty slick? Unbeatable? In December 1973, Mannis Charosh devised this
improvement, which doesn't require the last move be a suicide play.

Unbeatable? The record is more than 20 years old, but one of white's
moves is not a capture, so within the same rough game plan, an 8 move game
(with a suicide ending) might be possible.

Shortest **Scrambled Eggs** game?

, devised in May 1999 by JorgeGómez
Arrausi.

This supercedes the previous best (13 moves), devised circa 1991 jointly
by Philip Cohen and Michael Keller.
