players play simultaneously, trying to find words in the grid. The standard game is 3 minutes long. Words of any length can be used, but any word that is found by more than one player do not score for any player. So the premium is to find longer or unusual words. Setup and Play: The grid is randomly chosen for each game. Scoring: Scoring and letter frequency are based on the same point values as scrabble. Dictionary: Crosswords uses a lexicon derived from the open source program Collins Zyzzyva, which has roughly 280,000 words considered acceptable for scrabble. |  |
