Dvonn

Dvonn is a stacking game where the number of stacks, and the mobility of the remaining stacks, is continuously declining. Like the other games in the Gipf series, it can be a real brain-burner - but it can also be played pretty casually.

Robots: Dumbot seems to be about right against beginners. Smartbot and Bestbot were originally not much better, but their new, upgraded versions ought to be more challenging.

The back story: Dvonn was a tossup (with Yinsh) to be the second Gipf game at boardspace. Given my long term plan to have all the Gipf games, it had to be added eventually. So when other stacking games were being added, Dvonn finally became the current project.
